This is the official rashguard and board shorts for the Ultimate Fighter Season 9 TV show, and worn by the UK team!  This might be of interest to those of us in the UK that train MMA.

The rumour amongst the MMA press is that the next UFC will be in the UK in Manchester on November 14th 2009.  Tickets for the event will be  available from next week.  Official sources at the UFC have not confirmed this, but it would be best to keep an eye out as they sell like hot cakes!

This is great for all UK MMA fans.  It appears the head honchos at UFC/Zuffa see a lot of potential in the UK market.  My guess is that it will feature a lot of home-grown talent, such as the Ultimate Fighter: UK vs. USA winners, Ross Pearson and James Wilks.

UFC 98 last weekend saw Lyoto Machida KO Rashad Evans to be crowned UFC light-heavyweight champion. I have been a fan of Lyoto for a while now, and it’s good to see someone that is trained in a traditional martial arts (Shotokan Karate) do so well in mixed martial arts.
