• Submission switching – ability to transition from one submission to another
• Swaying – improved slips and bob weaving
• Using the cage – this was non-existent in the first game. Now you can use the cage to pin and get them takedown
• Play as Kimbo Slice!!!!

The shorts have a distressed UK flag on the right leg, the “Ultimate Fighter”logo on the left leg, and a “Tapout” logo on the back.



The rash guard has the “Ultimate Fighter” logo on the front, “UK” on the back and a “Tapout” logo on side.

Personally, I think the shorts look great.  Wearing both at the same time may make you look like a “TUF Noobie” going to the gym for the first time though!

I own and regularly wear the blue Atama rashguard shown above for no-gi training as well as underneath my gi.   In my experience, I have found some rashguards to fit well, but tend to feel too tight. The Atama rashguard on the other hand  is very comfortable.   The elastic waist does prevent the top from riding up, but is not too tight.   I have owned an Atama rashguard for about one and a half years, and the print has not peeled off either. This is a big plus in my opinion, as I have owned rashguards that have started peeling after one training session!

For £10, this is a rare bargain.   If you are considering buying a new rashguard or upgrading your training equipment, then I would seriously consider one of these.   Since this is a clearance sale, I would order one asap as you won’t find many of these type of offers around, especially in the UK!

With the closing of Setanta, UFC 101 will be on sports channel, ESPN. For Sky subscribers, those with the Sky Sports package can upgrade to the ESPN channels for £9 a month. For non Sky Sports subscribers, it will cost £12 a month.

]]> The rumour amongst the MMA press is that the next UFC will be in the UK in Manchester on November 14th 2009.  Tickets for the event will be  available from next week.  Official sources at the UFC have not confirmed this, but it would be best to keep an eye out as they sell like hot cakes!

This is great for all UK MMA fans.  It appears the head honchos at UFC/Zuffa see a lot of potential in the UK market.  My guess is that it will feature a lot of home-grown talent, such as the Ultimate Fighter: UK vs. USA winners, Ross Pearson and James Wilks.

]]> Good news for Sky satellite viewers! With satellite sports broadcaster Setanta going bust in the UK, Sky subscribers can switch to channel 433 and watch the show FREE OF CHARGE! Well, technically, it’s not free because you still have to purchase a Sky package of some sort but it’s cheaper than PPV!

The coverage of the event, which is taking place at the Mandalay Bay Events Centre in Nevada, will begin at 3 am BST on the 11th July.
