Brazilian Jiu-jitsu’s toughest competitors will be competing at the 2009 BJJ Mundials, which take place June 4th to 7th in Long Beach, California. Competitors include big names such as Rubens “Cobrinha” Charles, Marcelo Garcia, Roger Gracie, Kron Gracie, Braulio Estima amongst others.
Unibet are a gambling site that now offer online betting on the World Championships. This is the first time I’ve seen Brazilian jiu-jitsu on a betting site, and I believe this could be a good thing for the popularity of the sport.
